Ciffolillo Leads Bulldogs to Victory

The Canton Bulldogs took on the Bishop Feehan Shamrocks for their second trip of the season to the New England Sports Village. With several key players out of the lineup, others had bigger roles than usual and needed to step up. The first period was much closer than it should have been even though Chris Lavoie got back on the scoresheet as he netted the first one by wrapping the puck around the net on his backhand. The Shamrocks tied the game a few minutes later after a turnover and a shot from the point got redirected and past Cammarata. From that point on Cammarata was lights out but better yet the Bulldogs jumped on every opportunity and dismantled Bishop Feehan on the scoreboard. Colby Ciffolillo had his best offensive high school game ever as he put up a hat trick and was a nightmare for the Bishop Feehan goalie. John Hagan, Sean Connolly, and TJ McCabe all potted goals in the 7-1 victory. Canton’s winning streak continues and they will head back home to the ice house to take on Lincoln Sudbury in their next game of the season.
