Bulldogs goalies Carson Eagles and Connor Geoghan combined to shut out the Foxboro Warriors on Wednesday night in the Hockomock League opener for both teams.
Jack Digirolamo continued to have the hot stick, putting the Bulldogs up 1-0 early in the first. Defenseman James Young would rip a wrist shot from the slot for the first of his two goals to double the lead, while minutes later Brendan Tourgee would knock home a rebound to give the Bulldogs a 3-0 lead heading into the locker room.
In the second period, a Brian Middleton deflection extended the lead to four goals, before freshman Cullen O'Brien would add two more on a couple of incredible shots over the Foxboro goalie's shoulder. Young would end the scoring in the third with another blast from the point.
The win brings the Bulldogs to 6-0 on the season. Next up is Canton's biggest test of the season, a battle against rival Franklin away on Saturday night at 6:30 PM.
