The Bulldogs headed to Taunton Saturday evening in hopes of closing out the Hockomock League with a win. The first period was close given to the amount of offense the Bulldogs produced. Tommy Vaughn opened up the scoring with a rip off a shot from the top of the hash marks. Taunton legged out the end of the first only trailing by a goal. By the time the second period was underway Canton was off to the races. Jack Connolly connected on a wrist shot after Tim Kelleher fed him the puck. Moments later Lavoie and Kelly operated a perfect 2 on 1 give and go to flip the score to 3-0. Next Shane Marshall did the work all himself by scooping the puck up off the faceoff, making a move around a defender, and then burying it into the back of the net. Donnie McNeice made it 5-0 after battling for a loose puck in the crease. All forwards for the Bulldogs stepped up and played solid. As a result Vinny Sica and James DeLello. The Bulldogs will have their biggest test of the season Monday in Barnstable.
